What is vermiculite

Vermiculite is a hydrate, in the form of blocks and flakes. The interlayer water molecules are calcined at high temperatures, and their volume increases by 6 to 15 times. Rich in components such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, aluminium, iron, magnesium and silicate. Vermiculite has a relatively high layer charge number, thus it has a high cation exchange capacity and strong cation exchange adsorption capacity.
