What is vermiculite

Vermiculite is a hydrate, in the form of blocks and flakes. The interlayer water molecules are calcined at high temperatures, and their volume increases by 6 to 15 times. Rich in components such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, aluminium, iron, magnesium and silicate. Vermiculite has a relatively high layer charge number, thus it has a high cation exchange capacity and strong cation exchange adsorption capacity. The features are: light weight, good water and fertilizer adsorption performance, no rot, and can be used for 3 to 5 years.
